During a press conference, Singh stated that Atishi’s health worsened after nearly five days of fasting. She was admitted to the LNJP Hospital at approximately 3.45 am after her blood sugar level plummeted to 36 mg/dL, he said.

Sanjay Singh stated that doctors strongly recommended her hospitalization, warning that her life could be at risk.

He said that Atishi is now in the ICU undergoing tests, which has prompted the cessation of her indefinite hunger strike.

In order to ensure that Delhi receives its fair share of water from Haryana, the AAP MP stated he would write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the AAP and its political allies would also bring up the matter.

He mentioned that over the past three weeks, Haryana had reduced Delhi’s allocation from the Yamuna River by 100 MGD. However, in the last two days, this allocation has begun to increase, and the current deficit is now only 90 MGD.
