New Delhi, June 5: Delhi University (DU) has secured the top spot among Indian central universities in the QS World University Rankings-2025.

In the overall list of educational institutions across the country, Delhi University (DU) has climbed to 7th place from its previous ranking of 9th position last year.

The University of Delhi has made impressive strides in the QS World University Rankings 2025, ascending to the 328th position from its previous standing of 407th.

The University of Delhi achieved a ranking within the top 22 per cent in the QS World University Rankings.

The University of Delhi has been ranked globally among 270 institutions in four indicators out of nine. It secured the 44th position in Employment Outcomes, 220th in Sustainability, 225th in Academic Reputation, and 269th in Employer Reputation.

The University of Delhi demonstrated the most significant improvement among the top 10 institutions from India, advancing by 79 ranks.

Among Indian institutions, the University of Delhi secured the top position in Employment Outcomes and Sustainability, 3rd in International Research Network, 5th in Academic Reputation, and 8th in Employer Reputation.
