Ranchi, March 20: A day after JMM chief Shibu Soren’s bahu Sita Soren joined the BJP, she took her Twitter handle (Now X) to express her anger against her family members, particularly Kalpana Soren and the JMM leaders.
Durga Soren’s death changed her life
She wrote in the post that the change that came in her life and children after the demise of her husband, the late Durga Soren Ji, was no less than a terrible dream.

“I and my daughters were not only neglected, but we were also socially and politically isolated. God knows how I brought up my daughters during this period. My daughters and I were left in a void from which it seemed impossible to escape,” she said.
No political reason behind resignation: Sita
“I lost not only a husband but also a guardian, a partner and my biggest supporter. There is no political reason behind my resignation. This is a voice for my daughters and me against the suffering, neglect, and injustice done to us,” she maintained.
‘JMM deviated from its values’
“The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which my husband nurtured with his blood and sweat, has deviated from its values and duties today. For me, it was not just a party but a part of my family. My decision may have been painful, but it was inevitable. I have learned that listening to your soul and staying true to your ideals is most important. I request all the people of Jharkhand to see my resignation as a personal struggle and not a political move,” she said.
“Today, I request the people who are shedding crocodile tears by invoking the name of late Durga Soren ji, who sacrificed his life for Jharkhand and Jharkhandis, not to put a finger in my mouth. Otherwise, if my children open up and expose the horrific truth, then the dreams of many people in politics and power will be shattered, and the people of Jharkhand will spit in the name of those people who have always conspired to eliminate Durga Soren and her people,” she has said.
What did Kalpana Soren write on X?
“For Hemant ji, late Durga Da was not only an elder brother but also a fatherly guardian.
After joining this sacrificial family after marriage in 2006, I saw Hemant ji’s respect and dedication towards his elder brother and late Durga da’s love for Hemant ji.
Hemant ji did not want to enter politics, but given the untimely death of Durga Dada and the health of respected Baba, he had to enter the field of politics. Hemant ji did not choose politics, but politics chose Hemant ji. Those who had decided to become architects now had the responsibility of carrying forward the legacy and struggle of JMM, Respected Baba and Late Durga Da.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha was born from the coordination of socialism and leftist ideology. JMM is moving forward today in Jharkhand by becoming a reliable voice for all the poor, deprived and exploited, including tribals, Dalits, backward classes and minorities. Today, Hemant ji went to jail, fighting with the same forces as the struggles of respected Baba and Late Durga Da and the battle they had fought against the capitalists and feudalists. They did not bow down. He chose the path of fighting like a Jharkhandi. Anyway, our tribal society has never learned to move forward by turning its back and making compromises. It is not in Jharkhandi’s DNA to bow down.”
