Jamshedpur, March 24: The summer heat is going to increase in Jharkhand.

IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre today predicted a rise in maximum temperature by 4-6 degrees Celsius across the state in the next four days.
Weathermen ruled out the possibility of thunderstorm activity in the next few days.

“The weather condition would be mainly clear and dry over the state in the next few days,” said a duty officer.

The official went on to say that the maximum temperature which had witnessed an abrupt fall in the past few days due to the thunderstorm and rainfall activity would again witness a gradual rise.
Today’s satellite pictures showed a trough in westerlies in middle and upper tropospheric levels with its axis between 5.8 and 7.6 Km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 84°E to the north of Lat. 20°N .
A cyclonic circulation over northeast Assam and neighbourhood persists and was today seen at 1.5 km above the mean sea level.
