Dry weather forecast in Jharkhand with rising Celsius in next 72 hours

Jamshedpur, Feb 13:  Dry weather is expected to prevail over Jharkhand in the next three days, said a forecast issued by IMD’s  Ranchi Met Centre today.

Both the minimum and the maximum temperatures are also expected to witness a slight rise.

Met statistics revealed that the maximum temperature has shot up to 36.4 degrees Celsius in adjoining  Seraikela while Chaibasa in neighbouring West Singhbhum recorded a maximum temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius.

Most places across Jharkhand recorded maximum temperature above the normal limit.

The minimum temperature also witnessed a rising trend as Ranchi and Jamshedpur both today recorded minimum temperatures of above 15 degrees Celsius.

Daltonganj and Chaibasa recorded minimum temperatures of above 13 degrees Celsius while Lohardaga recorded a minimum temperature of 16 degrees.

According to statistics Gumla today recorded the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 9.6 degree Celsius.

Today’s satellite pictures suggested the presence of a Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over Jammu-Kashmir at 3.1 Km above the mean sea level.
