Jamshedpur, March 18: IMD Ranchi Met Centre’s forecast is dry weather in most parts today.

Last evening thunderstorms and rain were reported from several places including Kolhan.
Weathermen ruled out the possibility of heat wave conditions today.

Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of around 33 degrees Celsius yesterday while Jamshedpur recorded 37 degrees.

Daltonganj, Deoghar and some places recorded 35 degrees Celsius while Bokaro recorded 36 degrees.
Jagannathpur was the hottest place in the state yesterday with the mercury touching 38.1 degrees Celsius.
The Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over north Haryana, northwest Uttar Pradesh between 3.1 and 5.8 Km above mean sea level with a trough aloft with its axis at 7.6 Km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 75°E to the north of Lat. 27°N persists.
The upper air cyclonic circulation over Haryana at 1.5 km above mean sea level persists.
The trough from northeast Madhya Pradesh to Vidarbha was running from north Chhattisgarh to Vidarbha at 0.9 Km above mean sea level.
