Khan is under investigation for allegations of illegal appointments and financial misconduct during his time as the head of the Delhi Waqf Board.
Earlier, Amanatullah Khan posted a video on the social media site X, saying, “Just this morning, on the orders of the dictator, his puppet ED has reached my house. The dictator is leaving no stone unturned to harass me and AAP leaders. Is it a crime to serve the people honestly? How long will this dictatorship last?”

Several AAP leaders, including Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, slammed the BJP-led government at the centre, accusing it of targeting those who speak out against the ruling party. In the video posted on X, Amanatullah also mentioned that he has been responding to all the notices sent by the agency, but despite this, a team arrived at his house with a search warrant to arrest him.
