New Delhi, July 16: Official sources revealed that on Tuesday, the Enforcement Directorate carried out raids at various locations in Bihar, Delhi, and Pune in connection with a money laundering investigation involving Bihar cadre IAS officer Sanjeev Hans and former RJD MLA Gulab Yadav.
The raids are targeting the 1997-batch IAS officer Sanjeev Hans, who is currently the Principal Secretary of the Bihar Energy Department, as well as former RJD MLA Gulab Yadav and others.
According to the sources, the federal agency’s investigation is connected to accusations of corruption and is being conducted in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
