Ranchi, Jan 11: Ejaz Anwar, a Joint Secretary Rank officer of the Jharkhand Administrative Service took over as Director of Administration of Birsa Agricultural University on Thursday.
Anwar, earlier working as District Land Acquisition Officer, Garhwa has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Dept of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Cooperation, Government of Jharkhand. He has an additional charge at BAU.
After obtaining a BSc from Ranchi University and an MBA degree from Aligarh Muslim University, Anwar started his career as an officer of Bihar Administrative Service in the year 2000.
He served on different administrative posts in Chatra, Saraikela, Chaibasa, Dhanbad, Simdega and Garhwa districts.
