Ghaziabad, July 23: A shocking revelation has come to light after Uttar Pradesh STF (Noida unit) raided a luxurious bungalow in a posh Ghaziabad colony and uncovered a fake embassy operating from the premises.

The STF has arrested a man identified as Harsh Vardhan Jain in connection with the case. According to reports, Harsh Vardhan had been running the fake embassy for several years, posing as the ambassador of fictional countries such as West Arctica, Saborga, Poulvia, and Lodonia.

He had rented a lavish bungalow in the Kavinagar area of Ghaziabad, from where he operated under the name “West Arctica Embassy.”

During the raid, STF recovered four luxury cars with diplomatic number plates, 12 fake diplomatic passports, and forged stamps of the Ministry of External Affairs.
The officials revealed shocking details, stating that 34 stamps of various foreign companies and countries, fake press cards, PAN cards, ₹44.7 lakh in cash, foreign currency, and a total of 18 diplomatic number plates were seized.
Investigators said Harsh Vardhan lured people using morphed photos with the Prime Minister, President, and other VIPs. He also used fake pictures on social media and websites to convince victims, defrauding them with promises of jobs abroad.

The STF further disclosed that Harsh Vardhan acted as a middleman for overseas employment, created forged documents, and was involved in hawala transactions through shell companies. In 2011, a case was registered against him at Kavinagar police station for illegally possessing a satellite phone.
A new FIR has been lodged at Kavinagar police station, and interrogation of the accused is currently underway.
