Police recover empty cartridges
After receiving information, Adityapur police station in-charge Vinod Tirkey reached the spot with a team and inspected the area.
During the investigation, police recovered four empty cartridges, including one found inside the shop.
Shop owner alleges old dispute
Shop owner Sanjay Kumar alleged that the attack was linked to an ongoing dispute.
He claimed that an Adityapur resident, identified as Rishi, had called him on Friday night and threatened to kill him.
According to Kumar, the dispute began on December 19 over an issue related to making an inverter.
He further alleged that on March 9, Rishi along with two associates — Aman and Sanu — attacked his son at Hariom Nagar. A complaint regarding that incident had already been lodged with the police.
