Jamshedpur, Nov 25: Early morning fog is expected to prevail in Jharkhand for the next 48 hours, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.
Weathermen said Jharkhand is in the grip of a pressure gradient due to the weather’s transition phase.
No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand as such.

A cyclonic circulation is likely to emerge over the South Andaman Sea and the neighbourhood around November 26.
Under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal around November 27.
It is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal around November 29.
Dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature of 30°C was recorded at Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature of 11.9°C was recorded at Garhwa.
