Jamshedpur, Oct 24: Jharkhand is expected to witness foggy mornings and partly cloudy skies over the next few days, according to the latest weather bulletin.

Dry weather will prevail across most parts of the state, though a few regions may experience light to moderate rainfall or thunderstorms.

On October 25, moderate fog is likely at isolated places in the southern, central, and north-western parts of the state during the morning hours, followed by a partly cloudy sky later.

Light rain or thundershowers may occur at isolated places in the south-western region, while dry conditions will continue elsewhere.

On October 26, similar foggy conditions are expected in the morning, with a possibility of light to moderate rain or thunderstorm at isolated places in the western parts of Jharkhand. The rest of the state will remain mostly dry.
By October 27, moderate fog or mist may appear again in southern, central, and north-western districts during early hours.
Later in the day, partly cloudy skies are expected, with chances of light to moderate rainfall or thunderstorm at isolated locations in the southern parts of the state.
Meanwhile, an upper air cyclonic circulation persists over northwest Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Haryana at around 3.1 Km above mean sea level.
Another significant weather system lies over the south Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal, extending up to 5.8 Km above mean sea level.
Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the southeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal on October 24, which may move west-northwestwards and intensify further in the next 24 hours.
During the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed across Jharkhand, marking a calm transition phase ahead of potential system-induced rainfall in the coming days.
