New Delhi, Sept 26: Today marks the 92nd birthday of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, along with several others, have sent their greetings.
Born on September 26, 1932, Manmohan Singh is not only an accomplished economist but also served as the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India from 1982 to 1985. He was the 13th Prime Minister of India, serving from 2004 to 2014, making him the longest-serving Prime Minister after Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi at the time.
“Birthday greetings to former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji. I pray that he is blessed with a long and healthy life,” PM Modi said in a post on X.
