Jamshedpur, October 10: The Dinkar Parishad, the literary and cultural wing of the Bihar Association, will celebrate its Golden Jubilee along with Dinkar Jayanti on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 5:00 pm in the auditorium of Rajendra Vidyalaya.

Formed in memory of national poet Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’, the Dinkar Parishad has, for the past five decades, served as a vibrant center for the city’s literary and cultural activities.

The Parishad’s Central Library continues to play a vital role in nurturing the intellectual and cultural aspirations of Jamshedpur’s residents. The golden jubilee celebration marks a moment of reflection on the Parishad’s fifty-year journey of service to literature and culture.

The twin celebration will also honor the birth anniversary of the immortal poet of fire and melody, Ramdhari Singh Dinkar. Renowned Hindi poet, lyricist, and thinker Dr. Buddhinath Mishra, a leading figure in Hindi’s new song movement, will grace the occasion as the chief guest.

Ritwik Udayan, the grandson of Dinkar ji, will attend as the special guest, adding emotional significance to the event.

The ceremony will witness participation from the city’s eminent litterateurs, cultural personalities, professors, and intellectuals, along with hundreds of students from schools and colleges.
The event promises to be a fitting tribute to the great poet who inspired generations through his words of nationalism, courage, and humanism.
