Ranchi, April 21: On Tuesday, Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar administered the oath of office as Lokayukta of Jharkhand to Justice Amitabh Kumar Gupta, a retired judge of the Jharkhand High Court. The ceremony took place at Lok Bhawan, where the Governor administered the oath of office and secrecy.
Following the swearing-in, Chief Minister Hemant Soren congratulated Justice Gupta and extended his best wishes. The Governor also conveyed his greetings after the ceremony.
Several dignitaries attended the event, including Minister Radha Krishna Kishore and Minister Deepika Pandey Singh, along with senior administrative officials and members of the judiciary.
