Jamshedpur, Sept 12: On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, Jharkhand’s famous writer Ansuman Bhagat said that Hindi is not only for writers but also the foundation for the entire society. From journalism to education, it is a powerful link that connects thoughts in every field.

Ansuman Bhagat said, “Even today, though in some states Hindi is seen as a burden or curse due to political reasons, for us it is our mother tongue. Hindi is not just a language but an ocean of emotions, which gives us the strength to express our feelings.”

Highlighting the contribution of Hindi, Bhagat mentioned great writers like Munshi Premchand, Sumitranandan Pant, and Gulzar, saying that their works brought Hindi recognition not only in the country but also at the international level. He specifically referred to Gulzar’s Majranama series, mentioning that he is a deep admirer of his work.

Explaining the importance of Hindi Diwas, he said that on 14 September 1949, Hindi was given the status of the official language of India. This day is not just a celebration but an opportunity to take a pledge for the preservation and promotion of Hindi.

Ansuman Bhagat said that the true strength of Hindi lies in its readers and admirers. Without their affection and support, even writers would not have received the recognition and respect they enjoy. He appealed that this flow of Hindi should continue to reach the coming generations, as this is the true message of Hindi Diwas.
