Ranchi, March 18: IIM Ranchi hosted on its campus the Tribal Entrepreneurship Conclave 2025, a transformative event aimed at fostering discussions on the opportunities and challenges in tribal entrepreneurship.

The conclave brought together industry leaders, scholars, entrepreneurs, government officials, and NGO practitioners to drive sustainable tribal enterprises in India.
The event featured guests, including Avnish Anand, partner at Singularity leading Consumer Investments, and Utkarsh Ghate, director at Gram Mooligai Company Limited.

Delivering the inaugural address, Prof. Tanusree Dutta, Dean (Academics) at IIM Ranchi, emphasized the institute’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and social impact. She underscored the importance of innovation, policy support, and community-driven solutions in empowering tribal entrepreneurs.

The conclave featured thought-provoking panel discussions, moderated by IIM Ranchi professors Priya Premi and Raveesh Krishnankutty. These discussions explored key themes such as sustainable business models, financial inclusion, governance structures, and digital innovation in tribal enterprises.
Keynote sessions by Anand and Ghate provided invaluable insights into consumer investments, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable tribal livelihood initiatives. Their discussions focused on market access, supply chain innovations, and scaling tribal enterprises for long-term success.
The event concluded with an engaging question and answer session, followed by the felicitation of speakers. Prof. Rajiv George Aricat, Assistant Professor (Liberal Arts & Sciences) at IIM Ranchi, delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of panellists, speakers, academicians, and participants.
