The research is part of the broader effort to explore how artificial intelligence, computer vision and advanced image-processing techniques can contribute to medical diagnosis. By examining multimodal approaches, the study seeks to assess how information from different sources can be effectively combined to improve the analysis of glaucoma-related data.

The presentation also provided Pramanik an opportunity to discuss his findings with researchers and academics working in computer vision, image processing and related areas.
