PINAKI MAJUMDAR

Jamshedpur, Dec 16: Jharkhand is set to experience stable and dry weather conditions over the coming days, with chilly mornings and clear skies later in the day.

From December 16 to December 19, shallow to moderate fog is likely to prevail during the early morning hours across many parts of the state.

As the day progresses, the fog is expected to dissipate, giving way to a mainly clear sky.

No rainfall activity is anticipated, and dry weather conditions are most likely to continue throughout this period.

Outlook for the subsequent two days indicates no significant synoptic system influencing Jharkhand.

North-westerly to northerly winds are expected to dominate the lower tropospheric levels, supporting stable atmospheric conditions.

As per the realised weather during the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed across the state.

The highest maximum temperature was recorded at 27.4°C at Chaibasa , while the lowest minimum temperature dipped to 6°C at Kanke today, indicating a noticeable winter chill, especially during night and early morning hours.

Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 9.6°C while Jamshedpur was a bit warm at 13.6°C today.

Residents are advised to take precautions during foggy morning hours, particularly while commuting, as reduced visibility may persist.
