Indian men’s hockey team announced for four-nation series in South Africa

New Delhi, Jan 10: The 26-player team for a four-nation series that will begin in Cape Town, South Africa on January 22 was declared by Hockey India on Wednesday. France, the Netherlands, India, and South Africa, the hosts, will compete in the competition.

Harmanpreet Singh will captain the Indian squad, while Hardik Singh, the winner of the FIH Player of the Year award, will serve as vice-captain.

Due to their strong performances with the junior Indian team, young players Araijeet Singh Hundal and Boby Singh Dhami have been called into the squad.
