Forest guard Arun Das said the snake was found during earth-moving work at the mining site. The rescue team safely captured the python and later released it into the forests of Kanda under the Medininagar forest division.

This rescue comes just days after a deadly venomous Russell’s viper was recovered from Bhargawan village under the Chainpur police station, marking the second significant snake rescue in less than a week.
