New Delhi, May 4: The Junior Men’s Hockey Team, which will tour Europe from May 20 to 29, was announced by Hockey India on Saturday.
Defender Rohit will lead the team, with Shardanand Tiwari appointed as the vice-captain.
The team is scheduled to participate in five matches across three countries against Belgium, Germany, and a Dutch club team named Bredase Hockey Vereniging Push.
As part of Hockey India’s attempt to help the team acquire exposure and experience, the Indian Junior Men’s Hockey team will be playing matches in Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands.
