Ranchi, Jan 26: The tableau presented by the Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) secured first place at the state-level Republic Day 2025 celebrations. The Women, Child Development and Social Security Department earned second place, while the School Education and Literacy Department claimed third place.

The IPRD tableau highlighted the rich heritage and progress of “Golden Jharkhand.” It aimed to showcase the state’s unique culture, heritage, and the government’s efforts in various sectors. The tableau also paid tribute to Ratan Tata for his significant contributions to the industrial development of Jharkhand.

The tableau from the Women, Child Development and Social Security Department focused on the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiyaan Samman Yojana, a scheme that provides an annual honorarium of ₹30,000 (₹2,500 per month) to women aged 18-50. The initiative aims to improve education, health, and nutrition among women, empower them economically, and strengthen their role within their families.

Meanwhile, the School Education and Literacy Department’s tableau was based on the theme, “Girl Child Education: Now Every Girl Will Become Empowered.” It showcased the department’s programs designed to promote education for girls.

In total, 11 departments participated in the state-level Republic Day celebrations, each presenting tableaus on various themes.
