New Delhi, Feb 17: A special program for schoolchildren dubbed the “Young Scientist Programme” or “YUva VIgyani KAryakram” (YUVIKA) is going to be organized by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

This initiative’s main goal is to teach younger students the fundamentals of space science, space technology and space applications in light of developing trends in these fields.

According to ISRO, it has designed this program to “Catch them young”. Given the chance, children can flourish in space science and technology, as they will be the future foundation of our country.

STEM education through hands-on space science program

It is anticipated that the YUVIKA program will also inspire a greater number of students to pursue professions and research in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

With an emphasis on rural areas of the nation, the Young Scientist Programme, or YUVIKA, was designed to educate younger children the fundamentals of space science, space technology, and space applications.
