New Delhi, March 23: As part of a suspected tax evasion probe, the Income Tax authorities searched AAP MLA Gulab Singh Yadav and a few other people in Delhi on Saturday, according to official sources.
Yadav, aged 45, is a two-term MLA in the Delhi Assembly representing the Matiala constituency.
Tax authorities, accompanied by Delhi Police, are conducting raids on the residences of AAP MLA in Ghummanheda village and several others as part of a tax evasion probe, according to sources.

The sources added that some documents had been recovered and that some people had been questioned.
Two days after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister and national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party, in the excise policy case, income tax searches are being conducted at Gulab Singh Yadav’s residence.
Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Friday placed Kejriwal, who was arrested on Thursday night, under ED custody until March 28.
