Jamshedpur FC Reserves defeat Todo FC by 10 goals

Jamshedpur, Dec 12: Led by Zuala, who scored four goals, Jamshedpur FC Reserves delivered a stellar performance in the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL) Regional Qualification, thrashing Todo FC 10-0 at MFA Ground, Shillong, on December 11.

The victory propelled Jamshedpur to the top of the table with one more match in the Regional Qualification to be played.

The Red Miners set the tone early, with Karthik opening the scoring in the fifth minute, scoring home a precise corner from Puia.

Puia himself doubled the lead in the 10th minute, finding the net from a Zuala pass. Seven minutes later, Puia struck again, finishing a move that started with Rohan’s control in midfield.

Jamshedpur continued their dominance as Zuala opened his account in the 36th minute, assisted by Amzard, to make it 4-0 at halftime. The second half was even more one-sided, with Jamshedpur showcasing their attacking depth.

Remson added the fifth goal in the 52nd minute, followed by Zuala’s second in the 56th. Biyan joined the action with a spectacular goal in the 62nd minute, and Zuala completed his hat-trick in the 88th minute before adding his fourth in stoppage time. Biyan rounded off the scoring with a strike in the dying moments.

Todo FC struggled to contain Jamshedpur’s relentless attacks and could muster only a single shot on target throughout the game. The Red Miners’ defensive line remained solid, denying any chances for Todo to break through.

With this resounding victory, Jamshedpur FC Reserves sit atop the table with an impressive goal difference, strengthening their position for qualification for the zonal round. Jamshedpur FC will play their next match against Football 4 Change Academy on December 13.
