Ranchi: The anti-corruption bureau (ACB) today arrested Ratu Circle Officer Pradeep Kumar along with clerk Sunil Singh and a broker for taking a bribe of Rs 25,000. The ACB team is interrogating all the arrested people.
Meanwhile, the ACB team has also raided Pradeep Kumar’s house at Indrapuri Road number 1 on Ratu Road.
According to the information, the circle officer had demanded a bribe of Rs 25,000 from a person for working in a land case. After this, he complained about it to the Ranchi ACB. After receiving the complaint, the ACB got the case verified. During verification, it was found that CO Pradeep Kumar and Halka Karmchari were taking bribes through a broker. After this, on Thursday, the ACB arrested three people including CO Pradeep Kumar for taking bribes.
