Ranchi, Oct 22: For the forthcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections, state secretary of CPI (Communist Party of India) Mahendra Pathak announced the first list of candidates.

In light of dissatisfaction with the current seat-sharing arrangement within the INDIA bloc, CPI State Secretary Mahendra Pathak announced the party’s decision to field candidates in 15 seats for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections.

Pathak criticized both the Jharkhand government and the BJP, accusing them of attempting to deceive the public with promises of freebies ahead of the elections.

He also highlighted the government’s failure to address youth concerns over the past five years, affirming that the CPI will run independently, outside of the alliance.

As per the released list, CPI has nominated Kanhai Chandramal Pahadiya for the Nala Assembly seat, Chhaya for Sarath, Mahadev Ram for Barkatha, Ruchir Tiwari for Daltonganj, and Santosh Kumar Rajak for Kanke. Additionally, Suresh Kumar Bhuiya will represent Simaria, Doman Bhuiya will contest from Chatra, Mahendra Oraon from Bishanpur, and Ghanshyam Pathak from Bhawanathpur.

He mentioned that the candidates for the remaining seats, including Ranchi, Mandu, Barkagaon, Hazaribagh, and Poreyahat, will be disclosed after two days.
