Jharkhand Bureaucracy: Avinash Kumar is additional chief secretary to CM Champai Soren

Ranchi, March 5: Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), department of energy, Jharkhand government, Avinash Kumar has been given additional charge of chief minister’s additional chief secretary (ACS).

In this regard, the under secretary of the Jharkhand government, Binod Kumar issued a notification on Tuesday evening.

Avinash Kumar, a 1993 batch IAS officer, is at present also holds additional charge of Development Commissioner and post of Chairman cum Managing Director of Jharkhand Urja Vikash Nigam Limited (JVNL) and Managing Director of  Jharkhand Bijili Vitran Nigam  Limited (JBVNL) Ranchi.

Rajkamal is home secretary

According to the notification, besides Avinash Kumar, another IAS officer and chief minister’s secretary Arwa Rajkamal has been given additional charge of the secretary, home, prison department with immediate effect.

Besides, Arwa Rajkamal, a 2008 batch IAS officer, currently holds additional charge as secretary of urban development and housing department, secretary of excise and prohibition department, managing director of JUIDCO, and managing director of   Greater Ranchi Development Agency (GRDA).
