A meeting was also held on the occasion, where Sanjeev Kumar guided committee members on executing Biodiversity Acts and promoting the production of minor forest goods such as Tasar silk, beekeeping, herbal plantations, handicrafts, and other forms of sustainable farming.

“The Board will provide training to its female members to help them earn a livelihood and engage them in school nurseries for the conservation of local species,” said Sanjeev Kumar.

Kammu Devi, the Panchayat chief of Chatakpur, lauded the Biodiversity Board’s initiative, stating that such programs would significantly benefit women. The deputy chief of the Panchayat also welcomed the Board’s plans to provide training, enabling women members to become self-reliant.
