Dhanbad, Feb 13: Senior faculty members of BIT Sindri have hailed a tie-up between Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) and IITM Pravartak Technology Foundation Chennai for innovation and skill development.

BIT Career Development Centre

BIT Sindri Career Development Centre (CDC) Chairman Prof Ghanshyam said it is a fantastic collaboration. This strategic partnership will undoubtedly significantly impact education, innovation, and skill development in the deep-tech disciplines within Jharkhand.

Recently, Dr D K Singh, Vice Chancellor of Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) and Dr M J Shankar Raman, CEO of IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation, Chennai, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration. The faculty members said this initiative supports industry-academic collaborations and promotes tech commercialisation. “These efforts will undoubtedly drive economic growth and create opportunities for students and professionals in the region,” they added.

“Kudos to both institutions for their commitment to curriculum reform and launching industry-relevant course programs.
