Jamshedpur, Aug 20: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will visit Jamshedpur today to meet the family members of late state Education Minister Ramdas Soren.
According to information available from the district Public Relations Office, the Chief Minister will arrive at Sonari Airport by helicopter at 1:00 PM and proceed directly to the residence of the late Ramdas Soren at Ghorabandha in Telco locality of steel city, where he will meet his family.

After the visit, he will return to Ranchi. Hemant Soren could not attend the funeral of Ramdas Soren on August 16 as he was occupied with the post-death rituals (shraddh) of his father, Shibu Soren, on the same day.
While many ministers of the state and leaders from various political parties attended the funeral, the Chief Minister was unable to participate due to personal obligations.

Ramdas Soren passed away late on the night of August 15 at a hospital in Delhi.
