Jharkhand Congress schedules key meetings from March 26 to 30

Ranchi, March 16: The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) has scheduled a series of crucial meetings from March 26 to 30, 2025, aimed at strengthening the party’s organization in the state. Key officials will be assigned specific tasks, which will be implemented at the grassroots level over the next 100 days.

Strategy to Strengthen the Party Organization

All India Congress Committee (AICC) Jharkhand in-charge K. Raju, in a letter to State Congress President Keshav Mahato, emphasized that these meetings are intended to formulate the party’s long-term strategy. Discussions will involve senior leaders, departmental officials, party workers, and representatives of civil organizations.

Providing details of the meeting schedule, State Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh stated that:

  • March 26: Jharkhand Congress in-charge K. Raju will meet with the Executive President, Vice President, and General Secretaries of JPCC from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a meeting with State Congress Secretaries from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
  • March 27: Discussions will be held with State Committee members of the SC, ST, OBC, and Minority Departments. Additionally, there will be meetings with representatives of the Youth Congress, Mahila Congress, NSUI, and INTUC.
  • March 28: A key meeting will take place with Congress ministers, MPs, MLAs, former MLAs, former MPs, former ministers, and District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents.
  • March 29: Two-phase discussions will be held with Civil Society Organizations.
  • March 30: Congress candidates who contested the previous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will convene, followed by interactions with officials from the media, social media, and communication departments. Later that day, a press conference will be held at 3:00 PM, and a visit to the Congress Connect Center in Ranchi is scheduled for 5:30 PM.

Congress’s New Strategy for Jharkhand

These meetings will focus on formulating a special action plan to strengthen the Congress party at the grassroots level. Party workers will be directed to operate in a mission mode, with a strong emphasis on public outreach, media strategy, and organizational development.

State Congress President Keshav Mahato highlighted the significance of this initiative, stating that it will play a crucial role in strengthening the party’s presence in Jharkhand and devising strategies for improved performance in the state.
