Ranchi Nov 25: Cyber Vidyapeeth Foundation, Faridabad (Haryana) Chairman Shashank Shekhar Garuryar today said that the country needs at least 11 lakh cyber warriors for the protection of different institutions from external danger.

Shashank Shekhar Garuryar, who was addressing a seminar on ‘ Cyber Defence’ jointly organized by Sindri College and Cyber Vidyapeeth Foundation at Sindri College, called upon the students to focus on skill development along with general courses.

“The way external forces are creating confusion in internal, political and social matters through cyber attacks, the country needs skilled youth for protection from such elements in the near future,” he said.

Students warned 

He also alerted students about the messages being gathered on media platforms and Facebook through mobile phones.

 Sindri College principal Dr Kamlakant Pathak presided over the seminar while Dr Anil Ashutosh welcomed the guest.

On the occasion, senior teachers Dr Ataullah, Dr Vishu Meghnani, Dr Sharmistha Acharya, Dr Sanat Kumar, Dr Sumiran Kumar Acharya, Dr Nitu Gaurav, Dr Anuradha Das, Dr Rajesh Gupta and Dr Mamta Kumari were also present.
