Dhanbad, Dec 23: Dr. Vivek Kumar, Chairman of the Jharkhand Dental Council, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Outstanding Leadership’ award by the Dhashana Foundation, New Delhi.
The award ceremony took place at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi on Sunday evening, with Member of Parliament Ravi Kishan serving as the chief guest and presenting the award to Dr. Kumar.
Contributions of Dr Vivek
Dr. Vivek Kumar, who is also a member of the Dental Council of India, received the honor for his exceptional contributions to the enhancement of dental services in Jharkhand and across the nation.

His efforts played a pivotal role in securing government recognition for the Dental Institute at RIMS, Ranchi, as well as in restoring the biometric attendance system in all 316 dental colleges across the country.
Additionally, Dr. Kumar was instrumental in the launch of dental surgery and postgraduate dental courses at the Dental Institute, RIMS, Ranchi.
Dr. Vivek Kumar, a resident of Dhanbad and the son of senior Congress leader Brajendra Prasad Singh (Chairman of the Congress State Disciplinary Committee), has earned widespread recognition for his dedication to improving dental education and services.
