A heartfelt message, accompanied by his photograph, was shared on the account stating that his son had expressed deep grief while informing that Ramdas Soren is no longer among us.

The sudden announcement has left the state’s political circles and his supporters in mourning.

Ramdas Soren, a senior leader of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), played a crucial role in state politics and was regarded as one of the prominent tribal leaders in the current government.

As education minister, he was actively involved in shaping policies aimed at improving literacy, school infrastructure, and access to education in remote areas of Jharkhand.

Born in a family with strong political roots, Soren carried forward the legacy of the JMM, a party founded by Shibu Soren and now led by Hemant Soren.
