Ranchi, Jan. 5: The Forest Officers’ Wives Association (FOWA) today arranged a bonfire at three different places, namely, Firayalal Chowk, Hinoo Chowk and Station Road and distributed about 100 blankets.

This has brought a lot of relief to the homeless and people sleeping under open roofs. On December 18, woollen clothes and blankets were also distributed among rickshaw pullers.

On this occasion, FOWA President Vibha Srivastava said that, given winter, such programs will also be organised in the future.

FOWA Vice President Ruchi Upadhyay, Joint Secretary Sunandita Das, Pooja Bakshi, Mehwish Fatima and Vishakha Verma participated in the programme.
