Ranchi, February 2: Governor CP Radhakrishnan today approved convening a special session of the Assembly from February 5. The session will start on February 5 at 11 am. The special session will be held for two days on February 5-6.

Newly appointed Chief Minister Champai Soren’s government will prove the majority on the first day.
Notably, the decision to hold a special session of the Assembly was taken at the first cabinet meeting presided over by Champai Soren.
Earlier, Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel said that three proposals were passed. The budget session, earlier scheduled to begin on February 9, was cancelled.
