Ranchi, Dec 18: Taking serious note of the heinous crime committed with a daughter of Palamu labour in Bharuch of Gujarat, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has sent a delegation of Jharkhand under Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey to Vadodara by a charter plane.
Jharkhand delegation would meet the victim’s family in Vadodara and take stock of the incident in detail. Suman Gupta (ADGP) and Kiran Kumari Pasi (Director, Social Security) are other members of the team.
As per Additional Secretary of the government Rajiv Ranjan, the team is likely to return tonight.

The Jharkhand team will also meet the minister of the Gujarat Social Welfare Department and discuss the condition of Jharkhand labours working in Gujarat.
The minister, Deepika Pandey, will also make the Gujarat government aware of the concern of the Jharkhand government over the condition of Jharkhand labours.
A minor girl of a labour family was raped on Tuesday in Bharuch of Gujarat. She is under treatment in Bharuch Civil Hospital. As per available information, no arrest has been made even after 48 hours.
