Speaking at a function held at Chandil to welcome former MLA Arvind Singh alias Malkhan Singh back to the BJP, he said that Hemant Soren looted the state by becoming Hemant Kumar Soren, and Shibu Soren was made Shiv Soren. He added that Basant Soren was also made Basant Kumar Soren, and Durga Soren was made Durga Prasad Soren.

He said that the JMM is in panic when ED action is being taken today. But ultimately, Marandi added that he will have to suffer punishment for his actions.

The first chief minister of Jharkhand said that the people of the state know that the Jharkhand government formed under the leadership of JMM has nothing to do with the welfare of the state’s people.

Middlemen ruling Jharkhand

He said that the fight for a separate Jharkhand state had been going on since before independence, but the Congress Party, which ruled the country for 65 years, never understood the sentiments of the people of Jharkhand. “Congress kept considering the tribal people here as a vote bank. It took votes and bought the movement by giving notes,” he pointed out.

The ex-CM said that the central government formed under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee fulfilled the dream of a separate state by respecting the public sentiments as per its promise. “It formed the state on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda and made a tribal the state’s first Chief Minister,” he pointed out.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged neither to eat nor let anyone eat. “Today, action is being taken against corruption and corrupt people nationwide,” he asserted.
