Jamshedpur, February 23: The much-awaited 3rd Edition of the Jamshedpur Vintage and Classic Car & Bike Rally is set to kick off tomorrow at Gopal Maidan with over 150 vehicles revving up the excitement while promising a thrilling journey through the city’s vibrant past and bustling present.

Show organised by Tata Steel

On Day 1 (February 24), the vintage cars and bikes would be on display for public viewing at Gopal Maidan between 3 pm to 6 pm while on Day 2 (February 25) chief guest and other dignitaries would inspect cars and bikes followed by a formal flag-off at 8.30 am.

Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President of Corporate Services, Tata Steel will be the chief guest of the flag-off ceremony. The prize distribution ceremony will take place at the United Club.

Over 100 participants

Participants would also don period costumes matching respective vehicles during the show which is being organised by Tata Steel as part of Founder’s Day celebrations.

This event is a celebration of timeless beauty, roaring engines, and the enduring spirit of Jamshedpur. The theme for this year’s rally is ‘Retro Rides and Modern Vibes’.

The event has evolved into a much-awaited event in the eastern part of the country.

This edition of the rally will be witnessing participation from over 100 people coming from across Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Punjab.

70 vintage & classic cars, 100 bikes to be displayed

Around 70 vintage and classic cars and 100 bikes will be displayed. Vintage and classic cars and bikes ranging from the years 1920 to 1985 are participating in the rally.

The rally will cover a total route of around 23 Km passing through prominent sites like Regal Circle, Bharucha Mansion, KS Link Road, Marine Drive, Jubilee Park, etc in the city and will culminate at the United Club.
