Dhanbad, Feb 9: Kashish Srivastava and Saket Kumar of class XII became Miss and Mister of DAV Public School Koylanagar Dhanbad, respectively.

Farewell for class XII students

The competition was organised on the occasion of farewell for class XII students in which, based on question-answer and different parameters, the principal of the school, NN Srivastava, declared Kashish Srivastava Miss DAV and Shrawani Miss DAV runners up.

In the boy’s group, Saket Kumar was selected Mister DAV while Sharthak became Mister DAV runners-up.

BCCL GM Vidut Saha  

On the occasion, Vidut Saha, general manager (GM) of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), was the chief guest. Indrani Saha and Karuna Srivastava were guests of honour.

While wishing good luck to class XII students, Vidyut Saha said that to achieve the mission, it is necessary to struggle regularly.

“Easy aim does not matter, but zeal for getting it must be consistent,” said GM Vidut Saha.

School principal NN Srivastava

School principal NN Srivastava, on the occasion, advised class XII students that whatever noble lesson they learn in school, execute that in real life. “Now your world has become wide, and you become sincere enough to decide what is wrong and right in life,” said Principal Srivastava.

On the occasion, Students of class XII shared their school experience.

The cultural programmes, especially different dances performed by class XI students, were the centre of the attraction at the farewell function. Arvind Patra, a senior teacher, proposed a vote of thanks.

Senior teacher Pawan Pandey and students comprising Shrestha, Shruti Mitra, Mansi Kumari, Priyam Kumari and Harshita conducted the function.

On occasion, senior teachers of the school Anil Kumar, Sharad Srivastava, SK Deenbandhu, SK Ghosh, Arup Chakraborty, Ashish Choubey, DK Sinha, Pawan Pandey, Viswajit Mandal, RK Srivastava, Manish Kumar, Sudip Chakraborty, Rashmi Ganguli, Roji Jha, Devashish Dutta, RR Prasad, Papia Chatterjee, Mausmi Das, Namita Panda, BK Singh, Sunita Thakrey, Anikesh Kumar and Sanjay Kumar also graced the function.
