Jamshedpur, Dec 11: The second day of the Jharkhand National Film Festival (JNFF 2025) enthralled film lovers with an engaging mix of impactful screenings and insightful learning sessions at the Srinath University Auditorium and the Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur.

At Srinath University Auditorium, emotionally stirring films such as Echoes, The Homecoming, Kaara – A Custom, and Pagal Banai Diye Re were screened. Each film captivated viewers with its strong storytelling and meaningful presentation, leaving audiences deeply moved.
Simultaneously, the Michael John Auditorium showcased remarkable films including In Her Time, Voy, Body, Dead Man’s Switch, and Aanya Dular Re. These screenings drew an enthusiastic response, with audiences appreciating the diversity of themes and cinematic craftsmanship.

A major highlight of the day was a special filmmaking workshop organized at Srinath University. Conducted by filmmaker Sanjay Bharti—who has worked with the production team of the iconic TV show Shaktimaan—the session offered students and aspiring filmmakers a deep dive into the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking.
Bharti discussed behind-the-camera dynamics, shared professional insights, and responded to questions from participants eager to learn the craft.
Experts present at the session also interacted with the students, enriching the workshop with their experiences and practical guidance.
Festival founder Sanjay Satpathy said, “Along with screening films, our aim is to create learning avenues for young talent. This workshop is a step forward in that direction.”

The audience as well as workshop participants lauded JNFF’s efforts in combining cinema with education.
