Jharkhand News: 13-member committee for BIT Sindri platinum jubilee global conference

Dhanbad, January 11: A high-level 13-member state committee has been formed for the international conference 2024, organized by the Electrical Engineering Department on July 13-14 to mark the beginning of the Platinum Jubilee celebration of the institution.

Giving this information, one of the organizing committee members said that this international conference would be a two-day event starting with tutorials on emerging and proven technologies in different areas of electrical engineering on day zero.

“Eminent personalities from academia and industry across the country and abroad will participate. The paper submission process will begin from January 15 and continue till March 15,” said a senior Electrical Engineering Department faculty member.

The members of the Conference Committee are -Chief Patron- Rahul Purwar ( Principal Secretary, Higher  Education, Ranchi), Dr DK Singh ( vice-chancellor Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi), Patrons- Dr Pankaj Rai ( director BIT Sindri), Sayyed Riyaj Ahmed ( under-secretary, higher education department, Ranchi), conference chair- Dr Md Abdul Kalam ( HoD Electrical Engineering BIT Sindri), general chairs- Dr Upendra Prasad ( EE department), Dr DK Tanti ( EE department), Dr Nirmala Soren ( EE department), Convener – Dr Veenit Shekhar (EE department ), coordinator- Dr Amit Kumar Choudhary ( EE department), conference secretaries – Prof Praveen Kumar, Prof Mukhlesur Rahman and Prof M M Sankar.

The organisers said the theme of this auspicious international conference is “Next Generation Applications in Green Energy Technology”.

The organizers said at the conference, awards will be given for the best paper, poster for each track, and best Tech dissertation and PhD thesis.

“Papers submitted for oral/ poster presentations should comply with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) format and follow the standard ethical values. The paper must be original and not previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere,” said the organizers. All submissions must be in English and PDF.
