Dhanbad, June 22: Police have arrested three notorious cyber criminals involved in cheating people through online games from Baniyahir under the Jharia police station area today.
The arrested cyber criminals were identified as Raviranjan Kumar Thakur, Kishore Kumar Singh and Suhail Ali Ansari, all residents of Jharia.
Giving this information SDPO Sindri Bhupendra Raut told media persons that a transaction of Rs one crore was found in their passbook.

“The arrested cyber criminals along with their syndicate members had been cheating people through online gaming, fake ATM cards, fake SIM cards and other means for a long time not only in Dhanbad but also in other districts and states”, said SDOP Bhupendra Raut.
The police official said that on getting a tip off he formed a team and arrested three criminals on the spot. The team also seized fake ATM cards, fake SIM cards, mobile phones, QR Code account numbers, cheque book and other documents from their possession.
“The mastermind of the syndicate is operating from another state and police are working on his arrest”, said Bhupendra Raut, SDPO.
Besides Sindri SDPO, Jorapokhar police station officer-in-charge Rajesh Prakash Sinha, Jharia police station officer-in-charge Shashi Ranjan Kumar and other police officials were members of the raiding party.
