Jamshedpur, June 27: A tragic incident unfolded on Friday morning in the Babri Basti area of Bhuiyandih under the Sitaramdera police station area here, where a 38-year-old man, Joshi Bauri, allegedly died by committing suicide due to prolonged illness and mental distress.
The incident occurred around 8 AM. According to sources, Bauri had been suffering from illness for the past week and appeared mentally disturbed. He was employed at a local timber depot.

At the time of the incident, Bauri’s wife and mother were not at home. On returning, they found the door locked from inside. Despite repeated knocking, there was no response. With the help of neighbours, they broke open the door and were shocked to find Bauri hanging from the ceiling fan.

He was rushed to MGM Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Police soon reached the spot, took custody of the body, and sent it for post-mortem.
Joshi Bauri leaves behind a young son and a pregnant wife. The tragic loss has left the family shattered. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
