Hazaribag, February 15: Deepak Saw, eight-year-old son of Dinesh Saw, a resident of Chandni Chowk under Chalkusha police station area in Chalkusa block, went missing from his shop on Wednesday evening at around 6 pm. After this, the family members launched a massive search.
Rs 5 lakh ransom demand
Police said after Deepak went missing, an unidentified person rang up Deepak’s father, Dinesh, at around 8:30 at night. The kidnapper called Dinesh Saw from mobile number 7739661579 and demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh for the safe release of his son. The ransom amount was asked to be sent to the same phone number. After which Dinesh Sao sent one rupee.

Deepak’s mother, Chameli Devi, informed Chalkusha police around 9:30 pm. After receiving the information, the Chalkusha police station swung into action, and based on mobile location, four people were arrested on suspicion early this morning. Interrogation of the arrested persons is going on. But Deepak Saw has yet to be recovered. His family members are in a state of shock. The police have assured the safe recovery of the boy soon.
