Seraikela, April 28: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested Khetra Mohan Mahato, the head clerk of the Rural Development Department Division in Seraikela, for accepting a bribe of ₹10,000.
The action was taken after a complaint was filed by a citizen alleging that Mahato had demanded a bribe. Upon verifying the complaint, the ACB found the allegations to be credible.

Subsequently, a raid was conducted, leading to Mahato’s arrest while he was caught red-handed accepting the bribe.

The ACB has initiated further legal proceedings in the matter.
