Jamshedpur, May 20: Continuing its tradition of community service, the city’s prominent social organization ‘Arpan’ will organise its 9th Blood Donation Camp at the Red Cross Society in Sakchi.

Arpan bridging blood shortages for nine years

Arpan was formed nine years ago by a dedicated group of 20 young leaders who identified the acute shortage of blood during the summer months.

Motivated to bridge this gap, they organized their first blood donation camp in the name of Bhole Baba. Following the success of this initial effort, the group officially became known as ‘Arpan Uddeshya Seva Bhav’.

Over the past nine years, Arpan has distinguished itself by consistently organizing blood donation drives, thereby saving thousands of lives.

The success of Arpan’s initiatives can be attributed to the relentless efforts of its members. Leading the charge are Amarpreet Singh Kale, Jugan Pandey, Pappu Rao, and Mahesh Mishra, among others.

Their commitment is mirrored by other dedicated members including Bibhash Majumdar, Prince Singh, Dheeraj Chaudhary, Sarabjit Singh, Manish Singh, and many more who have played crucial roles in organizing these life-saving events.

Arpan’s 9th grand blood donation camp

During the important meeting held at Arpan’s office in Sakchi, the core team and other members resolved to make the 9th Maha Blood Donation Camp a grand success.

Their collective efforts ensured a seamless and impactful event, contributing significantly to the local blood banks’ reserves and helping those in dire need of blood transfusions.

Arpan’s persistent efforts have not only provided critical blood supplies but have also fostered a spirit of community service and solidarity in Jamshedpur.

The organization’s continuous dedication has inspired many locals to participate in these noble causes, thereby creating a robust network of blood donors.

Looking ahead, Arpan aims to expand its reach and continue its mission of saving lives through regular blood donation camps.

The organization remains committed to addressing the challenges faced by blood banks, especially during critical periods, and ensuring that no life is lost due to a lack of available blood.
